Jun 1, 2009 · Slogging up to Suntop Lookout 6-1-09 Today I checked out FS Road 7315 the road to Suntop lookout. Last time I was in the area there were several large trees blocking the road, today most of the blow downs were cut down, not cleared, but I managed to squeeze by until mile # 3. At this point 2 trees are down over road and snow gets too deep to drive.

During the summer the look out is usually manned and you can drive right to the picnic spot. If not it is a 1/2 mile hike on a trail and well worth the hike on a nice day.
